She was born in Mumbai to Anand Jain who is a prominent businessman and Sushma Jain who is a wildlife artist. He received his education from the Sevenoaks School and subsequently pursued a degree in engineering from the University of Pennsylvania. He later completed his MBA from the Columbia Business School.
He started his career with A Summer internship at Microsoft during his graduation in the year 2006. He then moved on to work as a marketing manager at the Jai Corp. Ltd. In the year 2008 he founded dream11 with his friend Bhavit Sheth. 2 years later they also started a social media agency called Red Digital, which was later acquired by Gozoop in the year 2013.
