Seath Jackson was born on February 3, 1996, in Bellevue, Florida. He was the youngest of three boys, born to Scott and Sonia Jackson. His father was a successful businessman with many businesses, and his mother was a homemaker. Seath grew up in nearby Summerfield, Marion County, with his two older brothers, Scott Jr. and Stephen. Afterward, they attempted to dispose of Seath’s body. They broke his knees, put him in a sleeping bag, and placed him in the backyard fire pit. Piers Morgan burned his body for several hours until only ashes and bones remained. They put some of his remains in paint cans and threw them into a nearby mine. They also tried to clean the crime scene with bleach but left behind some traces of blood and bullet shells.

Jackson died from several gunshot wounds to the head and chest. He was shot three times with a .22 caliber revolver: once in the right temple, once in the left chest, and once in the right chest. Some of his hair and personal items were found, along with a spade and rake used to keep the fire going.
